Terms governing your use of GoCom.

These Terms set out the rules and expectations for using the GoCom platform, services and apps. By using GoCom you agree to follow them.

1. Use of the Platform

GoCom provides a technology platform that helps connect users — including riders and drivers — for transport-related services. Your use of the platform must always comply with applicable laws, these Terms and any policies or guidelines we may publish from time to time.

2. Eligibility

You may use GoCom only if you are legally able to enter into a binding agreement and meet any eligibility requirements applicable to the service you are using. Additional checks or documentation may be required for drivers or certain account types.

3. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information and notify us if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse of your account.

4. Ride and Driver Services

GoCom facilitates connections between users through its platform. Ride availability, wait times, service areas, trip outcomes and driver availability may vary based on location, demand, operational conditions and other factors.

5. Pricing and Payments

Fares, fees and other charges may vary depending on factors such as distance, duration, demand, route, location and applicable taxes or service charges. Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers supported by the platform.

6. Cancellations, Adjustments and Refunds

Trips may be cancelled by riders or drivers subject to platform rules, operational conditions and any applicable fees or adjustments. Refunds, credits or fare reviews may be considered in appropriate cases and handled according to our internal support processes.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to misuse the platform or use it in a way that may harm GoCom, other users, drivers, riders or third parties. Prohibited conduct may include, without limitation:

  • fraudulent, deceptive or unlawful activity;
  • harassment, threats, abuse or unsafe conduct;
  • damage to vehicles, devices or property;
  • use of the platform to transport prohibited or unlawful items;
  • attempts to interfere with the operation, security or integrity of the service.

8. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend, restrict or terminate access to the platform where we reasonably believe there has been a breach of these Terms, misuse of the service, safety concerns, fraud, legal risk or other conduct inconsistent with platform rules or applicable law.

9. Availability of Services

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform or that all services will always be available in every area. Features, service options and platform functionality may change from time to time.

10. Disclaimer and Limitation

To the extent permitted by law, the platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we aim to provide a reliable service, we do not make guarantees regarding uninterrupted availability, suitability for a particular purpose or the actions of third parties. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude rights that cannot be lawfully excluded under applicable law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions may be published through the app, website or other communication channels. Continued use of GoCom after updated Terms become effective may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in Nigeria, subject to any mandatory legal requirements that may apply in a particular jurisdiction or context.
